December is turning out to be a very busy month for IIV. Not only have we shot our first music as a band since "So Careful" but we have officially begun work on "Collection 3.0 : Evolution". As everyone may or not know, most of our master tapes from the 1980's are in such poor condition they are not useable in their current state. This is due to not only time but an apparent manufacturers defect. So we've begun the painstaking process of 'baking' each tape in order to get a shot at a one time only transfer to a digital format. Once that is done, we should have all the tracks that are being considered for the CD compiled. We will then determine how many tracks we are able to get onto a CD. Technology is changing so fast these days, one really has to always check to see if the it has changed in that department. Last time I checked it was in the neighbourhood of 19 - 20 tracks. We will have more than that to choose from so we will have to, once again, make a few hard decisions about what tracks make it on or not.

She's a Garden, Calling My Name, One Way Heart & Awaken Me will be on the new CD. As well, single versions of Just Like You & In The House... The video version of Lust for Love, The Swim, Evol Ti Lac. Then there's the remaining stuff from The Spell; What If, Daddy, I Saw The Man, Alone & Like A Fool will all get consideration. Very early stuff, even pre Dale stuff with Gary J on vocals, may be be included; Foreign Affairs, Flashing Black, Victimize, Worlds of Noise, Welcome To Sorrow among others. Although there versions of Worlds of Noise & Foreign Affairs with Dale singing. He was a very new singer at that time & was in the process of finding his style & range. Will always consider stuff with Dale singing first. Other stuff; a track called S & M .... Oh & Call It Love (from Rituals). We hope to include a live version or two, a few remixes & a new track (or two).
