New online music portal launched by J.C. Chasez, Bill Marquez and Alex Griggs looks to promote compositions of up and coming music artists.

Musicfreedom.com, the new website said, was launched by *NSync member J.C. Chasez, Napster CEO Bill Marquez and well known producer Alex Griggs. It allows those who would be known to upload their music free of charge so that it can be sold directly to the public. Fans can search through the music tracks via a variety of ways, including artist/title, musical style, mood and a “sounds like” feature.

Greggs said that Musicfreedom.com “allows new acts to get immediate feedback from the buying public while at the same time generate revenues for their hard work and talent.”
